Talibah International Aid Association (TIAA)

  • Charitable organization connected to the al Qaeda terrorist network
  • Affiliate program of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth

The Talibah International Aid Association (TIAA) is a Saudi charity and an affiliate program of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY). In the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a cooperative investigation between the U.S. and Bosnian governments uncovered a financial connection between TIAA and al Qaeda. At the time, Osama bin Laden’s nephew, Abdullah bin Laden (who co-founded WAMY) was a Talibah officer in its Virginia location. TIAA’s fundraising efforts were directed by Abdurahman Alamoudi, Executive Director of the American Muslim Council.
