Rahm Emanuel Looking For Cable News Position

Since announcing in September that he wouldn’t seek reelection as Chicago’s mayor, Rahm Emanuel has attended meetings in New York with top executives at MSNBC and CNN in recent weeks, reportedly to discuss a slot as a cable news pundit, according to several anonymous sources.

The mayor’s director of communications dismissed the rumors and declared that Emanuel will “turn his attention to post-mayoral opportunities when he’s done.”

Emanuel has appeared as a pundit in recent months on ABC News and CNN. He is represented by major talent agency William Morris Endeavor, where his brother Ari is the co-CEO.
