Pelosi Slams Kavanaugh Supporters as ‘Patriarchal Cowards’

Speaking to far-left protesters at a rally at the Supreme Court on Wednesday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi accused Republicans supporting court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of being “cowardly, patriarchal people” who want to “undo the ‘Me Too’ movement.”

Pelosi told demonstrators that women should be believed by “default,” and claimed that the Senate GOP “hid” from interviewing Christine Blasey Ford, the California professor who has made an uncorroborated claim that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than 35 years ago.

“The default of truth is to the woman,” Pelosi said. “But that doesn’t mean we don’t believe in due process. We believe in due process. That is our strength.” Then she added, “If Judge Kavanaugh has nothing to hide, he should not fear an FBI investigation.”
