Ocasio-Cortez Blames – Who Else? – Trump for Shootings
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez politicized a vigil in Brooklyn Monday for the recent shooting victims of El Paso and Dayton, claiming President Trump’s immigration rhetoric is “directly responsible.
“I’m tired of the questioning if the president is racist. He is,” Ocasio-Cortez told the crowd of nearly 500. “There are so many different issues that are weaving themselves into a braid of violence into our country. One of them is white supremacist terrorism,” she stated, echoing virtually every Democrat politician and news media outlet in attempting to tie Trump to white supremacism.
This is the same President who time and again has denounced white supremacists, most recently on Monday when he declared that we “must condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy.”
“These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hate has no place in America,” he added. “These barbaric slaughters are an assault upon our communities, an attack upon our nation, and a crime against all of humanity,” he added. “We are outraged and sickened by this monstrous evil.”
