ISIS Behind Syria Bomb Which Killed U.S. Soldiers
A bomb attack which took the lives of U.S. troops in northern Syria on Wednesday has been claimed by Islamic State.
An anonymous U.S. official said four U.S. troops had been killed and three wounded in the blast, which took place in the town of Manbij, controlled by rebels opposed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. An Islamic State-affiliated site said was the work of a suicide bomber.
The attack is the deadliest on U.S. forces in Syria since they deployed there in 2015.
