DiCaprio: Trump ‘Denying the Science’ of ‘Climate Catastrophe’

Speaking at the Global Citizen Festival in New York on Saturday, actor/environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio complained that President Trump and other world leaders are failing to address climate change and even “denying the very science of this climate catastrophe.”

“It’s become clear that our political leaders have failed to live up to promises that we celebrated that day,” said DiCaprio, referring to the 2016 Paris climate accord, from which the Trump administration withdrew.

“Our future is being gambled away, and our leaders, those whom we entrust to protect us and set the example, are either failing to stop these dangerous trends or, in some cases, denying the very science of this climate catastrophe,” DiCaprio added.

“Unless you live in an alternate reality, there’s no more time for denial,” continued the activist/hypocrite who, like all celebrity climate alarmists, leaves a massive carbon footprint as he travels around the world in private jets, lecturing Americans and Europeans about their carbon footprints.
