Bill Clinton Says Trump Invented Immigration Crisis

Speaking on an Irish radio station during a visit to Ireland, former U.S. president Bill Clinton said that “America has no real immigration crisis” compared to other countries such as Turkey that are taking in millions of refugees.

He stated that President Donald Trump’s focus on the issue was “a manufactured crisis to take advantage of the global tide of identity politics.”

“We act like it’s the end of the world when 30,000 people show up at the southern border of the United States,” he added.
