Alec Baldwin Pleads Guilty to Punch Over Parking Spot
Actor/activist Alec Baldwin pleaded guilty on Wednesday morning to a second-degree harassment violation stemming from punching a man during a dispute over a New York City parking spot late last year.
Appearing in a Manhattan courtroom, Baldwin agreed to the district attorney’s recommendation that he attend a short anger management program as part of his plea. The actor will also have to pay a mandatory surcharge of $120.
The D.A. noted that because the actor didn’t have a criminal record, the charge was not more serious.
