Sheikh Salah Shehadeh

  • Former military leader of the terrorist group Hamas

Between May 2000 and July 2002, Sheik Salah Shehadeh, the military leader of Hamas, was responsible for murdering more than 150 innocent Israeli men, women and children – and wounding thousands more. Many of his surviving victims were maimed for life with lost limbs, or bodies full of nails and shrapnel. On the morning of July 23, 2002, an Israeli aircraft killed Shehadeh by firing a missile into the apartment where he lived.
