An Egyptian born U.S. citizen, Ahmed Abdel Sattar was a Staten Island, New York-based postal worker who illegally helped facilitate messages between Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman (the imprisoned terrorist mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing) and Islamic Group (an Egypt-based terrorist organization with close ties to al Qaeda).
