* In March 2011, CD’s organizational website published “The Common Good vs. the Tea Party,” an article wherein Center for American Progress senior fellow Fred Rotondaro condemned conservatives for allegedly seeking to balance the U.S. budget “on the backs of the poor and vulnerable” while endorsing tax subsidies for the oil industry and promoting unfair “tax cuts for the wealthiest.”
